AIC unveils the PM6-TR ratemeter/totaliser

Amalgamated Instrument Co. (AIC) has released a panel mount indicator to enhance their PM6 range. The PM6-TR is a ratemeter/totaliser and supersedes both the PM6-FX & PM6-FC models. This single 1/8 DIN panel meter offers the ability to monitor and indicate rate and count (or total) from a variety of pulse output sensors. The display can be toggled between rate and total using a remote input.

The instrument is configurable without the need for specialised test equipment or tools. The indicator features a large, red, LED four-digit display. The digits are 20 millimeters high and are typically readable at 10 meters. Display brightness can be switched to preset levels using one of two remote inputs.

The indicator also offers a visual alarm feature, which provides a flashing display when preset limits are reached. The flashing display feature can be set to operate against high and low limits for both rate and total. A range of power supply choices is available for both AC or DC operation.

The process units being displayed can be noted on the display. Units such as “kg”, “psi” and “litres/min, klitres” are available and added at the time of manufacture.
