Quattroflow Introduces Quaternary Diaphragm Pumps
Quattroflow introduces the QF20KSU single-use pump with replaceable polypropylene wetted pump chambers that can be replaced as a complete unit between batches to eliminate sterilization, lower cross-product contamination risk and reduce downtime, according to the company. The QF20KSU reportedly features flow rates of 200 - 16,000 lph (53 - 4,227 gph), 51 mm (2”) connections and autoclave and gamma irradiation capabilities.
Quattroflow QF1200-HT single- and multi-use pumps feature a high turn down ratio for precise accuracy in controlling flow rates. Their compact design with integrated controller provides a plug-and-play solution for applications requiring precision flow control, quick batch changes and a small footprint. The QF1200-HT offers flow rates of 6 – 1,200 lph (1.6 - 317 gph) and 19 mm (3/4”) connections, according to the company.
Quattroflow pumps are used in the biopharmaceutical and biotech industries for applications requiring gentle product handling, high containment, low pulsation, purity and cleanability. Quattroflow quaternary pumps utilize no moving parts to provide non-slip operation, which is optimal for transferring shear-sensitive products without damage while virtually eliminating particle generation and heat degradation, according to the company. Quattroflow pumps are self-priming and provide safe dry-run operation and allow for clean-in-place (CIP), sterilize-in-place (SIP) and autoclave capabilities.
