Controller integrates advanced sequence, motion, temperature, and vision control into a single package.

Mitsubishi Electric Automation’s newly expanded product line results in more scalable machines and allows users to customize hardware configurations to align with their system requirements. The new offering addresses the exact program memory requirements of the specific application with new L06CPU and L26CPU controllers.  It also offers the flexibility to expand network architecture. In addition to 10BASE-T and 100BASE-T communication, the new L Series Ethernet module also supports MODBUS/TCP through a protocol library.

The controller occupies less space within the control panel as the new power supply module is 35 percent thinner than traditional modules. It also minimizes space utilization and facilitates troubleshooting and maintenance by combining I/O on digital modules and analog modules.

In addition to a number of built-in features, the L Series integrates advanced sequence, motion, temperature and vision control into a single package, making the new models suitable for applications within the food and beverage, packaging and life sciences industries, including medical R&D, clinical supply and commercial manufacturing.

All models within the L Series product line feature single-CPU architecture with built-in Ethernet and mini-USB interfaces, a SD/SDHC memory card slot for program storage and data logging and 24 I/O for positioning and high-speed counter functions. The controller also includes a CC-Link V2 master/local station for connection to the open field network.
