Brookfield Engineering laboratories now offers a complete system for performing the Gelatin Bloom Strength Test. This system includes Brookfield’s enhanced CT3 Texture Analyzer for measuring bloom strength, two baths and one refrigeration unit for gelatin preparation.

Customers can now get the complete Gelatin Bloom Strength Test system and an industry-approved glass bloom bottle from a single source. The enhanced CT3 Texture Analyzer features a wide variety of standard probes, (cones, cylinder, blades, balls, punches) and fixtures (extrusion, cell, shear cell, grips, etc.) for multiple regular applications.  Brookfield offers customized equipment for specific applications.  Texture Profile Analysis using Excel based software enables the lab technician to generate analytical data comparable to other more costly systems.

Typical food applications include texture measurement of dairy products (butter, cheese yogurts, etc) sauces, doughs, cookies, crackers and other baked goods, vegetables, meat products, candies, pie/cake fillings and puddings.  Industrial applications include pharmaceuticals, personal care products, rubber, wax, sponges, soaps, paints, caulkings and adhesives.
