Nonmagnetic operation using inductive sensing allows for low flow sensing and is not affected by magnetic material in the flow.

W. E. Anderson Division of Dwyer Instruments Inc. has launched the Series PFT paddlewheel flow sensor. The Series PFT is designed for monitoring liquid flow in 1-1/2˝ to 40˝ pipes. Insertion design allows one model to be used for the full pipe size capability.

Nonmagnetic operation using inductive sensing allows for low flow sensing and is not affected by magnetic material in the flow. A square wave output signal is generated with frequency proportional to flow velocity. Design is weatherproof and submersible rated for application versatility, including irrigation systems.

The Series PFT comes in brass or 316 SS versions for different media compatibility.
