Fluke phase rotation indicator features clear LCD display

Fluke Corporation, the world leader in handheld test and measurement equipment, has entered a new product category by introducing the Fluke 9040 Phase Rotation Indicator.

The Fluke 9040 measures phase rotation on three-phase electrical supplies that feed motors, drives and electrical systems. It indicates the presence of all three phases, together with phase rotation direction, on its clear LCD display. Electrical professionals can use the 9040 to quickly and easily determine correct connections and phase sequence.  Its voltage range of 40 to 700 V makes it suitable for commercial and industrial applications.  The Fluke 9040 is powered from the circuit under test and does not require a battery.  The unit's test probes have a variable clamping range for safe contact and use in industrial sockets.  The Fluke 9040 is priced at $185, and is available from authorized Fluke distributors.
