Hands-on guide simplifies the fitting selection process for fluid systems.

Lokring Technology LLC, producers of advanced fluid and gas transfer connectors, has issued a revised version of its Fitting Applications Guide, a hands-on manual that simplifies the fitting selection process.

The Fitting Applications Guide provides consumers with an overview of the Lokring fitting, providing details on the technology behind the fitting, how it can and cannot be used, how to take corrosion into account, and what ASME codes the fittings meet. In addition, a pressure-temperature reference guide is included, along with what fitting to use for most standard pipe grades and types.

Lokring couplings and fittings are suited for fast-track or cost-effective fabrication of small bore piping and tubing systems, as well as field modification and repair of existing piping and tubing systems.

Lokring couplings and fittings have been designed and manufactured to meet the requirements of international standards for pressure piping and temperature. In addition, Lokring provides design, materials and workmanship conforming to the requirements of ASME B31.1, 31.3, 31.4, 31.8, and 31.9 codes (reference section 9.0 items 1, 2, 3 and 4.)
