Honeywell Announces Record Event Attendance

Honeywell Process Solutions announces record attendance at Americas Users Group.

More than 1,300 customers, distributors and Honeywell employees attended the 2014 Honeywell Users Group (HUG) Americas symposium held June 2-6 in San Antonio, Texas, according to the company. The conference brought together process manufacturers to discuss how to apply new technologies to overcome challenges facing their respective industries and operations.

Attendance was 25 percent higher than the 2013 Americas conference, with about 40 percent attending HUG for the first time. The attendees represented more than 475 companies from 36 countries and more than 60 industries. Almost 200 participants attended Honeywell’s Channel Partner conference, which was held alongside HUG.

Honeywell announced availability of its Experion Orion Console, Uniformance Release 320, Intuition Operations Logbook Release 100, Intuition Executive Release 220.5 and SmartLine industrial temperature transmitters. Honeywell also showcased LEAP, its new approach to project execution.

Honeywell will hold HUG events in Queensland, Australia (Sept. 21-23) and The Hague in The Netherlands (Nov. 10-14).
