The DuPont Chemical Resistance Guide (CRG) is now available offline and online for desktops, tablets and smart phones.
The CRG helps seal specifiers choose the best elastomer for their application. Users choose from over 1,800 chemicals, and ratings are assigned to 20 elastomer families. For more specific performance ratings in a variety of temperatures, the CRG provides additional information on DuPont Kalrez perfluoroelastomer parts and DuPont Viton fluoroelastomers.
The CRG also serves as an educational tool for material and maintenance engineers, giving basic information about elastomers and the properties that are important when selecting them. It also includes over 1,800 chemicals and performance ratings of the major types of elastomers in a selected chemical at room temperature.
The CRG is provided free of charge from DuPont Performance Polymers (DPP) on the DuPont website.
