Emissions Reduction Alberta and Alberta Innovates are hosting Spark 2017, a conference to connect innovators and advance technology.

Emissions Reduction Alberta and Alberta Innovates host Spark 2017, a conference to connect innovators and advance clean technology and bioindustrial solutions. Spark 2017 takes place November 6 - 8 in Edmonton at the Shaw Conference Center.

The conference invites submissions for abstracts for printed or digital posters and oral presentations at Spark 2017. Submissions are encouraged from academia (both students and faculty), companies of all sizes, associations, communities, research organizations and government as well as individuals who are advancing innovative products and technologies, leading demonstration projects and undertaking case studies and/or policy or regulation studies.

Presentations and posters (paper, video, PowerPoint) should address the following topics:

  • Reducing GHG Footprint from Fossil Fuels
  • Industrial Processes and Energy Efficiency
  • Bioindustrial Development and Biological GHG Emissions
  • Low-emitting Electricity Supply
