The European Federation of Chemical Engineering (EFCE), Brussels, has just bestowed its Carl Wagner Medal of Excellence in Electrochemical Engineering. This time, the triennial honor was shared by two young researchers: Carlo Santoro of the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, and João André da Costa Tedim of the University of Aveiro, Aveiro, Portugal.
The two researchers received the award in early June at the 11th European Symposium on Electrochemical Engineering (ESEE) in Prague.
The Carl Wagner Medal is awarded every three years by the EFCE Working Party on Electrochemical Engineering to a European researcher under the age of 35 for outstanding contributions to research in applied electrochemistry or electrochemical engineering.
