Brazilian chemical company Inbra Indústrias Químicas plans to open its first U.S. plant in South Carolina, according to an article from ChemInfo. The plant will largely produce plasticizers for the polyvinyl chloride market. This also marks the 76-year-old company’s first foray outside of Brazil.
According to the article, the company will spend $7.7 million dollars to bring the 24,000-square foot facility to Orangeburg County in South Carolina. The plant is expected to open in 2016.
