Dow Corning Names VP, Electronics Solutions

Eric Peeters takes over for James Helwick, who will lead the company's electronics innovation portfolio.

Dow Corning has named Eric Peeters as vice president of Electronics Solutions, effective Sept. 1. Peeters joined Dow Corning in 1992 and most recently served as vice president of the company's Solutions & Wind Energy Solutions.

Peeters takes over for James Helwick, who led the company's Electronics Business since 2010. Helwick has been asked to lead its electronics innovation portfolio, building on his application and technology expertise.
 
In his 20 years at Dow Corning, Peeters has served in various science and business leadership roles in the United States and Europe. He has a master’s degree in chemical engineering from the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium, and a Master in Technology Enterprise degree from the IMD in Switzerland.
