Roy E. Sanders
Chemical Engineer

Roy E. Sanders, Chemical Engineer – is a free-lance process safety consultant. He recently retired from PPG Industries in Lake Charles, LA. Roy worked for PPG for 42 years and specialized in Process Safety fundamentals since 1974.

Roy has authored over 16 published practical articles. Many of his articles were first presented at AIChE and Texas A&M Process Safety Symposia. His third book Chemical Process Safety: Learning from Case Histories (2005) continues to sell.

He has taught brief Process Safety Courses all over the U.S. and Canada. Recently he taught in Mumbai, India, Manama, Bahrain and Amsterdam.

During his retirement Roy enjoys his family, grand-children, traveling, teaching, gardening, photography, and alligator hunting.


Daniel Willis

Daniel Willis is Fike’s National Sales Manager for Industrial Protection Products. He is responsible for sales and business development for all pressure relief and explosion protection products within the U.S. market.

Daniel has over 30 years experience in the overpressure protection industry, including nearly 11 years as a sales manager for Fike Corporation. During that time, Fike has become a leader in both the rupture disc and explosion protection industries. Daniel has tremendous knowledge of the markets we serve, the changing codes and regulations, and the promotion of Fike’s representative and distribution networks. Daniel was recently promoted to his duties as National Sales Manager.
