Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group introduces 530 model peristaltic cased pumps for metering and transfer applications such as surface coating, printing and lime addition. 530 pumps are built to operate 24/7 without interruption. A bright color display lets users quickly check control parameters and visual status and an intuitive menu structure simplifies operator interaction. 530 model pumps feature integrated Profibus networking capabilities.

The Watson-Marlow 530 range of process pumps offers four drive options and nine pump head variants, letting users choose from manual operation to fully automated control including the ability to link up to 16 pumps and provide real-time communication. The pumps reportedly deliver flow rates from 0.000026 gallons per minute (gpm) to 0.92 gpm. 530 pumps can be fitted with either continuous tubing pump heads or with LoadSure tube element pump heads for pressures up to 101.5 pounds per square inch (psi), according to the company.

530 models feature Marprene industrial grade thermoplastic elastomer tubing, which offers wide chemical compatibility,  long life and low gas permeability, according to the company. Depending on a user’s process needs, 530 models can feature LoadSure tube elements, which fit into position for simple tube loading.
