FilterSense Introduces Particulate Monitor

March 3, 2016
FilterSense introduces particulate monitor.

A continuous particulate emission monitor and baghouse filter leak detector from FilterSense reportedly replaces manual and fluorescent dust leak inspections. Automatic self checks to automate EPA MACT requirements for periodic instrument validation are available. The particulate monitor features automatic signal diagnostics to improve performance and simplify setup in applications including coal, steel, cement, carbon black, lead smelters, chemical plants and pharmaceutical spray dryers. The monitor detects and locates filter leaks (by row) for maintenance, eliminates cleanup costs, prevents the escape of valuable powders and protects downstream equipment such as blowers and HEPA filters, according to the company.
