Material Transfer Introduces Bulk Bag Conditioning System

Oct. 23, 2015
System returns severely agglomerated materials to a free-flowing state.

The Material Master Bulk Bag Conditioning System from Material Transfer addresses concerns related to the commonly practiced forklift conditioning method such as bag breakage, plant structural damage, forklift damage or injury to plant personnel. The system uses hydraulically actuated pivoting conditioning arms with extended travel and features v-shaped tubular breaker profiles to return even severely agglomerated materials to a free-flowing state, according to the company.

The large, color touchscreen allows easy access to proprietary bulk bag and material conditioning parameters, full recipe management functions, system status and manual mode controls. The unit features a compact footprint and perforated metal guards with load side light curtain for operator safety.
