Valves Designed For Material Metering And Airlock

July 18, 2014
Meyer introduces Universal Duty Valves.

Meyer’s UDV-Universal Duty Valves are designed for economical and reliable material metering and airlock service. The housing design increases volumetric capacities while still providing the same flange to flange height and bolt pattern as the HDX Series. The UDV valves are available with square or round flanges; they feature rugged castings and large shaft diameters.

For pollution control applications in wood, grain, food, textile, paper, tobacco, rubber and paint industries, the UDV valve is suited for Baghouse, Cyclone and pneumatic conveying applications where temperatures do not exceed 350°F and pressure differentials are less than 7 PSI. Valves can be cast iron or stainless steel construction.
