Valves also handle baghouse, cyclone and pneumatic conveying applications.

Wm. W. Meyer & Sons’ UDV-Universal Duty valves were designed for economical and reliable material metering and airlock service. The housing design increases volumetric capacities while providing the same flange to flange height and bolt pattern as the HDX Series. The UDV valves are available with square or round flanges.

They are suitable for pollution-control applications in wood, grain, food, textile, paper, tobacco, rubber and paint industries. The valves also handle baghouse, cyclone and pneumatic conveying applications where temperatures do not exceed 350 degrees Fahrenheit and pressure differentials are less than 7 psi. Valves can either be of cast iron or stainless steel construction.
