Sensors are suitable for remote locations where power conservation with solar panels and batteries is critical.

Automation Products Group Inc. (APG) introduces MNU series ultrasonic sensors. Designed to operate as a slave device, MNU are self-contained sensors that measure distance, level or volume, with a standard Modbus RTU protocol (RS-485) output.

Available in sensing ranges from 4 inches to 40 feet, the MNU offers readings with high accuracy (+/- .25% of detected range) and a resolution of .1 inch or 2.5 mm. MNU is fit for a variety of liquid-level measurement applications. It’s suitable for remote locations where power conservation with solar panels and batteries is critical.

For users looking for a complete remote monitoring package, MNU level sensor users can also access their data remotely via APG’s Tank Cloud remote monitoring system. Tank Cloud enables users to monitor facilities and processes from anywhere with an Internet connection, 24 hours per day, seven days per week, through an online interface.
