Advanced control features include fluid level monitoring, fluid recovery, line priming and intuitive flow calibration.

Watson-Marlow Pumps Group released its Qdos 30 pump range. Developed in response to extensive industrial customer feedback for improved chemical metering, the Qdos 30 eliminates ancillary equipment and was designed to reduce chemical waste through more accurate, linear and repeatable metering than typical solenoid or stepper-driven diaphragm metering pumps.

The Qdos 30 delivers a 5,000:1 flow from 0.002 to 8.0 GPH at 100 PSI while integrating through IP66 manual, analog and PROFIBUS control options.  Featuring ReNu pumphead technology, Qdos 30 is fully sealed.  Qdos 30 pumps provide linear and repeatable flow performance from 0.002 to 8.0 GPH at 100 PSI. In addition, there are no seals or valves in the flow path. Advanced control features include fluid level monitoring, fluid recovery, line priming and intuitive flow calibration.

The pumphead can be configured on the left or right, making it suitable for installing in restricted environments or on skids, while its sealed design and fluid recovery eliminate wastage and ensures operator safety. Operation is intuitive via a menu-driven interface with a 3.5-inch TFT color display, providing high-visibility status indication. The keypad and display are positioned for easy access, along with input and output connections. The premium model in the new range is the Qdos 30 Universal+. The pump response to the 4-20mA input signal is fully configurable, and a 4-20mA output and alarm output is available.

Featuring all-new hardware and software, applications for Qdos 30 include: disinfection and pH adjustment of drinking water and industrial process water, flocculation, industrial cooling water preparation and reagent dosing in mineral processing. Maintenance intervals are up to six months at typical usage. In addition to the Qdos 30 Universal+ pump, four other variants are available.
