Extra thick abrasion-resistant polyurethane liner was designed for dry applications where severe abrasion is a factor.

Kuriyama of America Inc. recently launched the Tigerflex 2001 series material handling hose with a heavy-duty, food-grade polyurethane liner and grounding wire.

The extra thick abrasion-resistant polyurethane liner was designed for dry applications where severe abrasion is a factor. The hose cover complies with applicable FDA requirements. The hose was also approved by the USDA for use in meat and poultry plants.

A multi-strand grounding wire helps prevent the build-up of static electricity for added safety and to help keep material flowing smoothly. It’s embedded within the rigid helix to prevent contamination of transferred materials.

Other features include transparent construction for visual confirmation of material flow, a convoluted outer cover for increased hose flexibility and an oil-resistant polyurethane liner that resists most animal and petroleum-based oils.
