New models are designed with stainless steel housing and 15:1 or 30:1 optics.

Omega introduces the OS151-USB series of non-contact infrared temperature transmitters. The new models feature maximum, minimum, average and instantaneous readings; peak or valley hold; reflected energy compensation, OPC server capabilities and a response time of 240 mS to 90%. The 4 to 20 mA output is compatible with most indicators, controllers, recorders or data loggers without special interfacing or signal conditioning.

The OS151-USB series transmitters are also designed with a stainless steel housing and 15:1 or 30:1 optics, which makes them suitable for most applications associated with liquids, motors, plumbing, food, storage containers, received goods, grocery store areas, kitchens, as well as refrigerated rooms, maintenance, manufacturing, chemical plants and oil refineries.
