Compressors Feature Multi-System Controllers

New controllers are intended to increase energy savings by over 30%.
Gardner Denver has added to the small-horsepower rotary screw air compressor market with the new Apex Series. The new compressors offer the ability to customize the system with tank and dryer options with minimal installation cost, in addition to utilizing an efficient air end operated by the AirSmart controller. 
The company also introduces two new compressed air system controllers. The GD Connect 4 System Controller is suited for systems with up to four fixed speed compressors. Offering energy savings of up to 30%, the controller features a back-lit LED screen, real-time clock, three selectable control functions and system pre-fill capabilities. 
The GD Connect 12 System Controller is designed for multi-unit systems because of its ability to control up to 12 fixed or variable speed compressors. Features include a high-resolution touch screen, Commissioning Wizard and optional webserver module. The 12 System Controller is intended to offer energy savings of up to 35%.
