Support System Incorporates Security Functionality

Invensys Operations Management has released version 4.2 of its Wonderware IntelaTrac mobile workforce and decision support system. The newest version addresses security and infrastructure functionality to support users’ IT requirements. Now all IntelaTrac system management applications are launched and contained within the IntelaTrac Management Center (IMC).

New security functionality enables the use of Microsoft Active Directory (AD) and “single sign on” capability. Users can upgrade to full 64-bit operating systems and, based on customer demand, IntelaTrac 4.2 will provide the capability to use images as a part of data collection capabilities. With IntelaTrac 4.2, mobile users can capture an image as a "note" and it will appear in Auditor Plus.
 
Wonderware IntelaTrac 4.2 includes configurable software and ruggedized mobile hardware solutions that enable workflow, data collection and general task management for plant operations, maintenance management, production tracking and compliance applications. Other capabilities include integrated use of images, Microsoft Active Directory support, and Windows 64-bit operating system support.
