Valve’s press ends include an FKM sealing element for higher temperature tolerance.

Viega ProPress has introduced a new series of three-piece ball valves designed to be used with its stainless steel systems. Constructed using 316-grade stainless steel, the valves are available in ½- to 2-inch sizes and have a machined ISO 5211 mounting pad for actuators or operators.

The ball within Viega’s new three-piece valve is a full port ball and the handle locks in two positions. The press ends of the valve include an FKM sealing element for higher temperature tolerance, while the patented Smart Connect feature enables installers to identify connections that need pressing.

Available in 304 and 316 stainless steel grades and over 600 fitting configurations, the valves are suited for industrial and commercial installations in applications such as food and beverage processing, chemical processing, pharmaceutical and biotech processing, oil and gas, mining and manufacturing.

The Viega ProPress system can be installed wet or dry, aiding in maintenance or emergency repair, and reducing costly downtime by decreasing plant shutdowns. They can also be adapted to any existing piping system with adapters and flanges.
