Omega Engineering offers the new NEP-TX series of molten metal ceramic sheath thermocouples, which features a 1,250 degrees Celsius (2,282 degrees Fahrenheit) temperature rating, connection head with terminal block and corrosion resistance.
Suited for mining and heat treating, the NEP-TX series of molten metal ceramic sheath thermocouples include a cast iron connection head and 1 ¼ NPT fitting. Non-wetting for most non-ferrous metals, it is gas tight, chemically inert, and features high strength, hardness, and thermal shock resistance. Custom probe lengths also are available.
