Parameters include flow, pH, ORP, conductivity/resistivity, pressure, temperature, level, and salinity.

GF Piping Systems has unveiled the new Signet 9900 SmartPro Transmitters, offering a single-channel interface for multiple parameters including flow, pH, ORP, conductivity/resistivity, pressure, temperature, level, and salinity. The device is suited for water and wastewater treatment, reverse osmosis, deionization, chemical dosing and delivery, metal and plastic finishing, fume scrubbers, cooling towers, and any filtration applications.

Featuring a 3.9 inch x 3.9 inch backlit display, the Signet 9900 includes large characters that reduce the risk of misreading or misinterpreting the displayed values. The display shows separate lines for units, main and secondary measurements, as well as a dial-type digital bar graph, relay and warning LEDs, and an intuitive menu. Input, output, and display settings can be configured and saved to a file for cloning the configuration to subsequent 9900 transmitters.

The unit can be adapted with optional plug-in modules such as relay, direct conductivity/resistivity, HART Communications (H COMM), and a PC configuration tool (PC COMM). The H COMM module enables communication with any HART-enabled device and allows users to remotely adjust 4 and 20 mA settings. With PC COMM software, the transmitter can interface to a PC.

The transmitter also allows third-party 4 to 20 mA signals to be used as an input (optional 8058 module required). The 9900 Smart Pro Transmitter is offered in panel and field-mount versions, with both configurations able to run on 12- to 32-VDC power. The 9900 can also be loop powered with compatible sensors. Standards and approvals include NEMA 4X/IP65, CE, UL and China RoHS.
