Air Nozzle Uses Single Point Of Convergence

Dec. 15, 2011
New model delivers compressed air in a concentrated, high-velocity stream.

Exair introduces the 1 NPT Stainless Steel Super Air Nozzle, which is made for corrosive, high-temperature environments in food and pharmaceutical applications. Capable of delivering 6.6 pounds of blowing force for blow off, cooling and drying, the nozzle features an aerodynamic design and uses a single point of convergence to deliver compressed air in a concentrated, high-velocity stream.

The 1 NPT Stainless Steel Super Air Nozzle enables heavy material to be blown in areas where the nozzle is unable to be mounted near the target surface. In addition, air consumption is 135 SCFM at 80 PSIG, while the sound level is 99 dBA, which meets OSHA standards for two hours of use per day without hearing protection.

The Type 316 stainless steel construction of the Super Air Nozzle has a 1-1/2 inch (38 mm) hex body for easy installation using a standard wrench or socket. Other suitable applications include ejection of heavy parts, drying, part and machinery cleaning, chip removal, liquid blow off, and cooling hot parts.
