Expanded line offers wider selection of flow measurement and control devices.

Parker Hannifin’s Porter Instrument Division has expanded its line of P-Series variable area flow meters to include an all-new range of products that offer a wider selection of flow measurement and control devices for use in applications including oil and gas production, food manufacturing, power generation, chemical and petrochemical, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Adding to Parker Hannifin’s existing line of acrylic, glass and metal tube flow meters, the new products are designed to accommodate greater flow rates, temperatures and environmental conditions. New products now offer gas flows up to 350 sft3/m (9910 slpm) of air; liquid flows up to 450 US gpm (1700 lpm) of water; pressures up to 4,000 psig (275 Bar) and higher (on special request); and temperatures up to 575 degrees Fahrenheit (300 degrees Celsius) and higher (on special request).

In addition, the expanded line of P-Series variable area flow meters also feature NEMA and IP enclosures for weatherproof applications, intrinsically safe transmitter and alarm options, as well as certified calibrations conforming to ISA RP 16.6, NIST traceable.
