New features include automatic temperature compensation.

Omega Engineering has introduced new RHXL3SD handheld thermometer/hygrometer data logger, with new features that include a 2-gigabyte SD card for storage, a temperature-humidity probe, automatic temperature compensation for dew point, and wet-bulb and thermocouple measurements.

Designed with a large, backlit, dual LCD display, the RHXL3SD is suited for clean rooms, greenhouses and pharmaceutical industries to monitor the temperature and relative humidity of storage rooms where food items are stored.

Measurements can be made automatically at sampling rates between one second and one hour. Once measurements are logged, SD cards can be removed and plugged into a laptop or desktop computer either directly, or via a USB card reader. Data is stored as files that can be accessed using Microsoft Excel.
