Web-based Temperature Monitor Protects Critical Locations

Nov. 17, 2011
Users can view and record temperatures in real-time.

Omega’s new iSD-TC series provides web-based temperature monitoring for critical equipment and locations, such as clean rooms, computer rooms, HVAC systems, pharmaceutical and food processing and storage, laboratories, semiconductor fabs, electronic assembly, and greenhouses.

The iSD-TC series enables users to view and record temperature on two independent thermocouple channels with a web browser. Providing real-time readings, users can adjust scales as well as display differential measurements for two locations.

Alarm triggers can be set up for when temperatures go above or below a set point, as well as for power failures, during which data can be collected for two days using a standard 9-volt alkaline battery. In addition, failures of the Ethernet network will not interrupt data recording with the iSD-TC.
