Flowrox LPP-T Peristaltic Pumps handle abrasive, corrosive, viscous or crystallizing media.

Flowrox LPP-T Peristaltic Pumps are built to handle abrasive, corrosive, viscous or crystallizing media. Manufactured using durable elastomers and advanced body materials, LPP-T Peristaltic Pumps offer reduced friction, less energy consumption, and lower maintenance costs due to longer hose life and longer service intervals.

The Flowrox LPP-T pump operates based on the peristaltic effect. As the cylindrical rotor rotates along the hose, the process medium is pushed through the hose. The hose behind the compression point reverts to its original circular shape creating a suction effect at the pump inlet port. As the hose is squeezed tight by the roller, the hose bore is filled with the medium and backward flow is prevented.

To produce maximum flow per revolution, the pump uses a single, bearing-mounted roller that presses against the hose once per 360-degree operating cycle. Hoses consist of three layers, including an inner layer that comes in contact with the medium, a reinforcement layer that gives the hose its pressure retaining capability, and an outer layer that allows the hose to return to its original shape.
