Severn Trent Services’ Capital Controls Series 70CV3000 Chloromatic intelligent gas-flow control valve automatically controls chemical feed in water or wastewater applications. The wall-mounted, integrated, Series 70CV3000 responds to multiple process signals from a water flow transmitter and/or chlorine residual analyzer and is integrated with a microprocessor-based controller.

The Series 70CV3000 is field configurable for flow proportioning, residual, compound loop or feed forward control. While the Series 70CV3000 features 10 range capacities from 10 to 3,000 PPD (up to 60 kg/hr) for chlorine, it is also suitable for use with sulfur dioxide, ammonia and carbon dioxide. The system comes standard with an 11-step calibration of the valve plug that yields a true gas flow retransmission signal and eliminates the need for a separate D/P transmitter.
