Compressed Air System Reduces Energy Costs
Atlas Copco Compressors has launched ConservAIR, a compressed air system controller. The controller is said to reduce energy costs by 25% - 40% by optimizing the balance between air consumption and demand to create a continuous air supply at the lowest acceptable pressure for the application. The ConservAIR controller achieves perfect balance in a compressed air system by creating a storage supply of compressed air in a receiver tank, according to the company. ConservAIR monitors the pressure at the reservoir’s outlet and releases stored air as demand increases. This ensures that an immediate supply of air is always available to meet production spikes.Company Information
