Viking Pump introduces the Composite Mag Drive series

Viking Pump's Composite Mag Drive (CMD) is a series of sealless, non-metallic pumps that are designed for liquid containment applications, including corrosive chemicals, volatile organic chemicals and flammable liquids. Due to the CMD’s engineered-fluoropolymer and ceramic-wetted material design and construction, the series can handle the entire pH range and offers advanced durability, broader compatibilities and corrosion resistance.

The CMD series offers several benefits, including 100% renewable performance with the use of Viking’s recommended spare parts kit; a magnet system with a spline design that allows the magnet to self-align while floating on the shaft with no added fasteners; self-lubricating, heavy-duty bearings with patent-bearing geometry that allow dry-run capabilities; and a universal flange that allows for easy installation for both ANSI and DIN flanged systems. In addition, the CMD series offers an array of models with port sizes ranging from 0.25 inches to 1.5 inches (6.35 to 38.1 millimeters), a performance level of 100 SSU (22 cSt), normal capacity at 1450 RPM ranging from 0.34 to 16.5 GPM (1.3 to 62.5 LPM), normal capacity at 1750 RPM ranging from 0.4 to 20.0 GPM (1.5 to 75.0 LPM), a maximum differential pressure of 150 PSI (10 Bar), a maximum hydrostatic pressure of 200 PSI (14 Bar), approximate shipping weights ranging from four to 44 pounds (two to 20 kilograms) and a maximum recommended operating temperature of 150°F (65°C).
