Hosokawa Micron Powder Systems introduces the Mikro-Bantam mill. The mill, model NGB, was designed to provide an economical alternative for lab-scale fine grinding. With an assortment of rotor options available, such as pin, rigid and stirrup, the Mikro-Bantam mill provides controlled particle sizes while grinding, blending and dispersing dissimilar ingredients. Once the mill is set, it will continuously produce the same results without adjustments. The Mikro-Bantam mill is ideal for dry and wet milling. It was designed to operate up to 17,000 RPMs and will pulverize materials up to ½ inch using a feed screw. It can process a wide range of materials, such as titanium, toner, sugars, spices and scrap PVC. It is fabricated from stainless steel and can be used in sanitary processing. The bearing housing is sealed with labyrinth and lip seals. The grinding chamber has a hinged cover for easy cleaning. The Mikro-Bantam mill has a small footprint, a long production life and safety features.
