Two-Stage, Liquid-Ring Vacuum Pumps Handle Large Amounts of Liquid Carryover

Sept. 20, 2007

The Nash TC 8, TC 9 and TC 10 two-stage, liquid-ring vacuum pumps have an overall capacity of 725 to 1,200 cfm /1,230 to 2,040 m3/hr and vacuum to 0.8-in. HgA/ 27 mbar abs. The Nash TC 9, has an overall capacity of 1,000 to 1,550 acfm /1,700 to 2,600 m3/hr and vacuum to 0.8-in. HgA/ 27 mbar abs; and the Nash TC 10, has an overall capacity of 1,100 to 1,900 acfm /1,800 to 3,400 m3/hr and vacuum to 0.8-in. HgA/ 27 mbar abs.

These pumps are designed to handle large amounts of liquid carryover without difficulty and were developed to fill the capacity gap of the Nash TC/TCM series. Customers can now replace two or more of their smaller model TCs with one of the more efficient, larger NASH TC 8, 9 or 10 models.

Other features and benefits of the pumps include:

  • ATEX compliance
  • A removable bearing bracket for easier maintenance
  • ISO and ANSI connections available to meet global requirements
  • An air/water separation design that improves efficiency
  • Accepts single, double and cartridge mechanical seals for flexibility to meet process requirements
