The Safety Spring option, available for the C79P through the G79P line of single acting pneumatic actuators, allows removal of the end caps for maintenance or changing the fail orientation. By incorporating a captive spring design into the concentric spring pack, contained and stored energy is neutralized, eliminating the possibility of injury. The output torque of the actuator and actuator dimensions are unaffected with this option.
The Integral Travel Stop option was created for double- and single-acting pneumatic actuators, allowing for independent adjustment of the close stroke (0°) from -2° to +4°, and independent adjustment of the open stroke (90°) from -4° to +2°. The Integral Travel Stop option is available for models C79P through G79 P, and must be factory-installed.
