Shimadzu Scientific Instruments introduces the SALD-3101 Laser Diffraction Particle Size Analyzer, which is designed for measurement of coarse or dense particles and offers a variety of sampling options for wet and dry samples. It covers a measuring range from 0.05 to 3,000 microns using a single measurement principle, a single optical system and a single light source. The sampler incorporates a vertical radial pump with a flow rate of 5,000 cm3/minute to reliably circulate a range of particle sizes from microns to several millimeters.
