Fulton China Acquires Costerm Swiss AG

Fulton Companies completed a deal on Dec. 20, 2011, in which its China operations acquired 100 percent of Costerm Swiss AG, a specialized industrial burner and engineering company based near Zurich, Switzerland. Plans are to share R&D resources, use Costerm burners on large Fulton boilers, and sell both companies products through both sales offices.
Formerly part of Waermetechnik AG, Costerm has over 40 years of experience producing large burners used for air heaters, asphalt processing, industrial applications, and with large horizontal fire tube and water tube boilers. Costerm’s complex custom engineering projects, sales, service and aftermarket parts are managed from Schwerzenbach, Switzerland, while its burners are manufactured in Czech Republic.
