Emerson Releases Micro Motion ProLink III

Emerson Process Management has released Micro Motion ProLink III, a Microsoft Windows-based configuration and service tool for data-logging and troubleshooting the range of Micro Motion Coriolis flow and density products. ProLink III connects to all Micro Motion Coriolis transmitters and supports HART, Modbus RS-485, and Modbus/TCP communications.

With process variables and alerts able to be seen through a single diagnostics display, the ProLink III identifies fault conditions and separates them by severity, allowing users to prioritize alerts. In addition, a guided connection wizard, simulated device feature and offline configuration tool serve to decrease commissioning time and reduce start-up costs.

The tool can simultaneously connect to multiple devices and monitor system performance through trending and data logging, while device simulation and offline configuration can provide confirmation prior to implementation. Smart Meter Verification, concentration measurement, petroleum measurement, Net Oil Computer (NOTC), discrete batching, or filling & dosing application software also can be configured.

ProLink III is available in two editions. The Basic edition covers basic configuration and alarm functionality, while the Professional edition includes simultaneous multi-transmitter connectivity, trending and data logging, device simulation, offline configuration management, Modbus communications over Ethernet and Smart Meter Verification reports.
