Harper to Offer Carbon Fiber R&D Workshop

Thermal processing solutions provider Harper International will host a Carbon Fiber R&D workshop in Buffalo, N.Y., July 25th-26th.

The goal of the event is to connect peers in the carbon-fiber research space from around the world for an opportunity to network and share insights on material and process technology innovations. On display will be Harper’s complete carbon-fiber Microline research system, which has been designed to support the unique needs of research and development efforts, and an advanced ultra-high temperature furnace for carbon-fiber production.

Some of the confirmed presenters for the technical program include Ames Laboratory, Applied NanoStructured Solutions, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Hills Inc., Iowa State University, LTI Associates, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, University at Buffalo and University at Tennessee.

This event is free, including shuttle transportation to and from the workshop and the Niagara Falls dinner/tour, as well as meals/refreshments during workshop hours as indicated in the agenda.
