Allegheny Technologies to Host Ninth International Corrosion Solutions Conference

Conference brings together corrosion engineers, fabricators, academics and materials specialists.

The Ninth International Corrosion Solutions Conference will take place Sept. 15-18 in San Diego. The four-day conference, hosted by Allegheny Technologies Incorporated (ATI), will feature technical sessions and panel discussions geared toward materials selection, fabrication issues, innovations and solutions in the chemical processing, oil and gas and energy industries.

The conference will provide the latest information on working with various materials of construction, such as stainless steels, nickel-based alloys and specialty alloys, titanium, niobium, tantalum and zirconium and will cover a broad spectrum of corrosive applications and environments.

This year’s keynote speakers include Stuart Hoffman, chief economist at PNC Financial Services and Robert Bryce, author, journalist and energy expert.
