Grundfos Pumps, WMI Set Out On Clean Water Mission

Dec 11, 2009

Water Missions International (WMI) and Grundfos Pumps Corp. have teamed to bring clean drinking water to impoverished peoples throughout the world. These efforts complement the Grundfos LifeLink project, which is dedicated to bringing clean drinking water to remote third-world countries, utilizing the Grundfos SQFlex submersible solar pump.

WMI, a nonprofit engineering organization based in Charleston, S.C., has provided clean drinking water for more than 1.5 million people in 40 countries around the world. WMI specializes in reliable low-maintenance solar-panel-based pumping solutions and simple but rugged filtration systems. For solar projects, WMI has standardized on the Grundfos SQFlex solar pump as the dependable heart of the pumping system.
