Emerson Opens New Technology Center In China

Emerson announced the opening of its new Asia Flow Technology Center in Nanjing, China. The Asia Flow Technology Center expands production capacity and services for Emerson Process Management’s leading flow metering and measurement technologies that serve the oil and gas, refining, petrochemicals, marine, life sciences, food and beverage, metals and mining, and pulp and paper industries. The 12,500-square-meter facility will manufacture world-leading measurement technologies, including Micro Motion Coriolis flow and density meters, Rosemount vortex and magnetic flowmeters, and Daniel ultrasonic and differential pressure flowmeters. 
The world-class manufacturing facility features what is said to be one of the highest accuracy flow calibration laboratories in the region to deliver the most accurate flow technologies available. Calibration facilities can accommodate measurement devices from a tenth of an inch (2mm) to 40 inches (1000mm) in size. In addition, the new Flow Technology Center will offer quality testing capabilities including X-ray, dye penetrant, positive metal identification, hydrostatic testing, pneumatic testing, electronics diagnostic testing, and electronics calibration.
