The German Society for Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (DECHEMA), Frankfurt, is calling for nominations for the 2018 Helmut Fischer Medal. It honors a researcher who has contributed to extending or deepening the understanding of electrochemistry, corrosion or corrosion protection, either on the fundamental level or in terms of industrial application.
The medal, which has been awarded ten times since 1989, is open to researchers who have worked in the field for at least twelve years by the nomination deadline (February 16, 2018). It will be presented at 14th International Fischer Symposium in KlosterSeeon, Germany, in May 2018.
