Data from the American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers (AFPM) shows that the top 10 U.S. exports and imports grew at nearly the same pace in March, according to an article at ICIS.com. Exports in March rose 26.8% year on year and imports increased 26.3%, with polyethylene leading both categories.
Other top gainers in both exports and imports were polyvinyl chloride, ethylene dichloride and MTBE, according to the article. Much like in February, polypropylene imports rocketed again in March, nearly tripling from the same period one year ago.
