Microdyn-Nadir Announces TriSep Acquisition

Membrane and module manufacturer from Wiesbaden, Germany expands global operations.

Microdyn-Nadir acquires specialty membrane company TriSep Corporation. Goleta, California-based TriSep is reportedly experienced in the area of reverse osmosis and nanofiltration. Microdyn-Nadir is the water treatment unit of global filtration group Mann+Hummel.

Microdyn-Nadire can now provide all four cornerstone filtration technologies – microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration and reverse osmosis – according to the company. TriSep will continue operating under the leadership of Peter Knappe, TriSep’s president, as managing director of TriSep, reporting to Walter Lamparter, CEO of Microdyn-Nadir.  The acquisition reportedly increases Microdyn-Nadire’s product offerings and its global reach into the dairy, food, beverage and pharmaceutical markets as well as municipal and industrial water/wastewater treatment. The acquisition addresses the needs of many Microdyn-Nadir customers and prospects that require downstream purification of effluent with reverse osmosis, according to the company.
