The International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry along with scientific societies from around the world condemn the use of chlorine as a weapon.

The International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) recently denounced the use of chlorine as a weapon, according to an article from Homeland Preparedness News. The organizations reportedly go on to say that they support the OPCW in implementing the Chemical Weapons Convention, which forbids member states from use, stockpiling, distribution, development or storage of any chemical weapons.
